Russian Rocket was written by The Gecko in Berlin during a time of Russian military testing in 2008. It explores the complex and often contradictory loyalties that people experience after the cold war.
The Gecko recorded, produced and mixed it with the help of Oren Gerlitz (Jachoozi).
The instrumentation is: Mini Moog bass, two synths, drums, electric guitar and voice

The Gecko describe their music as a fusion of 2001 Space Odyssey and Trainspotting. They write intelligent, energetic synth and guitar driven anthems that sound like they were made for stadiums.
